Chalisa - Award Winning Animation Design

Chalisa is a handcrafted clay animation that reimagines a traditional hymn of strength, courage, and devotion. By presenting Hanuman as a timeless superhero, the film beautifully blends spirituality, culture, and entertainment, highlighting his devotion to Rama, resilience, and righteousness. It inspires perseverance, optimism, and inner strength, encouraging viewers to awaken their own inner light of hope and joy. This project done by Anuranan and team under the guidance/ project lead Prof. Swati Agarwal, IDC, IIT Bombay.

The film achieved significant acclaim, winning the Best Animation Award at ASIFA 2025, receiving a special recognition award from the Government of India, and being selected for multiple international film festivals across the USA, UK, Germany, France, Bali, and more. Its global screenings celebrate the universal appeal of culture-driven storytelling and artistic craftsmanship.
