The Animation Design Project for Green Bodoland Mission 2025 was created as part of an environmental awareness campaign by the Government of Bodoland Territorial Region. The initiative aimed to inspire sustainable practices and community participation across the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Assam.
We produced five traditional 2D animated films, each around 3 minutes long, showcasing Bodo culture, heritage, and identity while promoting a greener future. Each story was thoughtfully designed to engage audiences of all age groups through meaningful and culturally rooted storytelling.
The campaign successfully reached and influenced approximately 400,000 people in the region, raising awareness and motivating communities to actively support and participate in the Green Bodoland movement. Project done by Anuranan and Dimbeswar.
For the Green Bodoland Mission 2025 campaign by the Government of Bodoland Territorial Region, we developed a structured creative approach aligned with the client’s vision. The requirement was to create five culturally rooted stories in the local Bodo language, featuring a young boy as the mascot and central character. After in-depth research on Bodo identity and cultural elements, we designed three mascot options and finalized one through collaborative review. Multiple story concepts were developed, refined, and scripted in Bodo with the support of regional language experts.
Simultaneously, we created detailed storyboards and a culturally authentic style guide incorporating traditional Bodo elements to reflect a true community perspective. Backgrounds, visual assets, and environments were carefully designed to match the narrative tone. From audio recording and animatic development to final 2D animation production, we established a fast and efficient pipeline. Within just five months, we successfully delivered all five animations, fully meeting the client’s expectations with strong cultural representation and creative quality.
